Biography, Gary Muddyman - Providing Localization & Internationalization Services Worldwide

Gary Muddyman is Managing Director and CEO of Conversis, a U.K.-based leading provider of Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation (GILT) services. Established in 2003, Conversis is a subsidiary of Ruxley Holdings, based in the United Kingdom.

Muddyman, together with a team that brings more than 60 years to the Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation market, founded Conversis with the idea of advancing the understanding and use of localization and translation as a strategic business tool. The company has therefore built its expertise on delivering quality, time-sensitive localization, translation and internationalization services, while providing clients with access to industry experts throughout the world.

As managing director & CEO, Muddyman leads the company's strategic business development and has successfully launched the company's full range of technology, business and marketing products and services within more than 30 markets worldwide.

Prior to joining Conversis, Muddyman served as director of operations for K International Plc. In this position, he was responsible for all the development and implementation of business strategies, which included positioning K International within the top ten language companies in the United Kingdom.

Earlier, Muddyman spent 16 years working for London-based HSBC Asset Finance U.K. Ltd., one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world. During his tenor there he led the various product, commercial and business development divisions. In particular, he helped create the Metropolitan Collection Services, the debt management arm of HSBC.

Muddyman received his master's degree in business administration from Warwick University.
